닉 부다빈은?

부산국제영화제 초청작 "Chi-town(치-타운)"의 감독

시라큐스대 뉴하우스대학원에서 TV·라디오·영화 전공, 사회학을 부전공. 

다수 상을 수상한 논픽션 쇼 러너이자 감독으로, 15년이상 TV와 영화계에 종사. 

TV작품으로는True Life, Growing Up Gotti, NYC Prep, Season 25: Oprah Behind The Scenes, Cake Boss, Kathy Griffin: Life on the D List 그리고 Beerland(Viceland  최초의 브랜드 시리즈) 등. 

2011년에 자신의 첫 장편 다큐멘터리인 ‘치-타운’ 촬영을 시작. 

2018년 SXSW영화제에서 최초공개, 2018 부산국제영화제에서 상영 예정. 

‘치-타운’ 줄거리: 시카고 출신의 가망없는 농구선수가 갑자기 미국 최고의 대학농구 포인트가드로 변신하는 이야기이다. 하지만 주인공이 NBA 입성의 꿈을 향해 나아가는 동안 그의 고향 친구들은 총기사고의 후유증으로 괴로워한다.

Who is Nick BUDABIN?

Director of "Chi-town", the invitation to Pusan International Film Festival

He majored in TV, radio, film and sociology at the Syracuse University New House graduate school.

He is a non-fiction showrunner and director who has won numerous awards. 

He has been engaged in TV and film industry for over 15 years.

His TV credits include True Life, Growing Up Gotti, NYC Prep, Season 25: Oprah Behind The Scenes, Cake Boss, Kathy Griffin: Life on the D List and Beerland (Viceland's first brand series).

In 2011, he started shooting his first feature-length documentary, "Chi-Town".

First show at SXSW festival in 2018 and will be screened at Pusan International Film Festival in 2018.

'Chi-town' plot: Chicago's hopeless basketball player suddenly turns into the best college basketball point guard in the United States. However, while the main character is heading for the dream of entering the NBA, his hometown friends suffer from the aftermath of a gun accident.
